Working at Heights Training Course In Durban


FTS Safety's Working at Heights Training is a one-day accredited course designed for employees who work where there is a risk of falling. Aligned to SAQA Unit Standards 229998 and 120362, the course teaches learners how to identify fall hazards, use fall protection equipment correctly, and work safely at height in accordance with South African workplace safety requirements.

Yes. Unit Standard 229998 requires learners to demonstrate practical competence, including:

  • Inspecting fall arrest equipment.

Assessment includes demonstrating these practical skills in accordance with the unit standard.

The course costs R950 per person excluding VAT. Discounts are available for qualifying group bookings, and onsite training quotations are available for companies requiring private training.

Learners who are found competent receive a Certificate of Competence aligned to the applicable SAQA unit standards. Certificates are generally issued within three working days, with urgent requests accommodated where possible.
