The FTS Safety fire prevention course typically takes one day, starting from 08:30 in the morning. Time of completion also depends on the group size. As the course lasts all day, students get time for breaks and meals.
The fire prevention course is aimed at helping learners identify different kinds of fires, learn to contain and practice using basic equipment & procedures to extinguish fires.
A certified/qualified firefighter is trained to extinguishing different types of fires by operating basic firefighting equipment in the workplace.
