Scaffolding Training Course
FTS Safety offers a one-day Scaffold Inspector and Erector training course at our Durban branch to meet the specifications of SANS 10085 and SABS. The Erector training unit standard 263245 (NQF Level 3, 5 credits). Onsite training is also available in Pietermaritzburg, Cape Town, Johannesburg, George and surrounding areas, as well as in Nelspruit, with a minimum number of candidates required.
This course teaches learners to identify scaffold components and safely erect, inspect and use scaffolding on site.

What is Scaffold Training?
Scaffold Training equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills to safely erect, inspect, alter, use, and dismantle scaffolding in accordance with South African safety requirements. The course covers scaffold components, hazard identification, safe work practices, load limitations, and legal responsibilities to help reduce the risk of falls and scaffold-related incidents. Medical certificate of fitness, legal notices and SANS 10085 are all that is required to pass a Department of Labour inspection
