FTS Safety offers one-day Health & Safety Representative training (Unit Standard 9964) in Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Cape Town and Johannesburg. Onsite training is also available in George and Nelspruit for groups meeting a minimum candidate number.
This unit standard enables learners to apply basic health and safety legislation, standards, and procedures — helping them contribute to a safe, healthy workplace for themselves and others.

Health & Safety Training Reps are trained to identify potential hazards and major incidents. Examine causes of incidents. Investigate complaints. Advise the committee and the employer.
Enrol in FTS Safety's one-day SHE Representative course (Unit Standard 9964) at one of our public classes or on-site at your workplace. On successful completion of the training and assessment, you'll receive a Certificate of Competence qualifying you to act as your organisation's SHE Representative.
Both new and refresher SHE Representative course students can get trained for R950 per person at the FTS Safety Academy.
The SHE Representative course runs for one day, from 08:00 to 14:00, at our Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Cape Town and Johannesburg locations.
