What the Law Says: When there are 20 or more employees, for every group of up to 50 people in the workplace, (or in the case of a shop or an office for every group of up to 100 people), at least one Health and Safety Representative must be designated in writing.
Course: UNIT STANDARD 9964 NQF 2 - 3 Credits
It is the general duty of the employer to their employees to provide information, instructions, training and supervision as necessary to ensure their health and safety at work.
FTS Safety Training uses SAQA (South African Qualifications Authority) aligned material that is SETA approved to deliver both practical and theoretical training that is more than just a certificate. Students will leave with a clear understanding of their responsibilities and confidence to implement what they have learnt enabling them to effect the change needed to better promote safety and compliance.
