Course Aim:

To equip learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely enter, work in, and exit confined spaces.

Course Objectives:

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to:

• Define a confined space and identify potential hazards
• Recognize and assess confined space hazards
• Select and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Implement safe work procedures for confined space entry
• Monitor and maintain a safe atmosphere in a confined space
• Respond to emergencies in confined spaces
