  staff to be compliant. In many cases private learners what to become qual
 ified in working at heights with a certificate to enhance their CV. Often 
 times contractors need the certification for themselves. FTS Safety's publ
 ic classes are an easy opportunity to get a working at height certificate 
 in a single day. Our Venue has plenty of safe parking behind a gate and wi
 th a security guard on duty. Lunch is included in the course price. Public
  classes are more interactive. You have candidates from various companies 
 and industries all joining together so the questions are interesting and y
 ou get additional insight into the risks in different industries. The qual
 ifying learner is capable of:Explaining the use and limitations of a limit
 ed range of fall arrest equipment and fall arrest plan.Inspecting\, assemb
 ling and storing fall arrest equipment.Selecting suitable anchor points.Us
 ing fall arrest systems with a double lanyard.Using pre-installed vertical
  and horizontal life-lines. As working at height is a high risk exercise y
 ou should also be medically fit and in possession of a medical certificate
 \, declaring you free from a condition that may prevent you from working s
 afely at height What should you bring?A copy of your ID documentSafety sho
 es or bootsA harnessAppropriate clothing for climbing on ladders or scaffo
 lding on a worksite Your certificate will be emailed within 7 days. If you
  require proof that you have attended immediately please let the course fa
 cilitator know on the morning of training.
