 their staff to be compliant. In many cases private learners what to become
  qualified in working at heights with a certificate to enhance their CV. O
 ften times contractors need the certification for themselves. FTS Safety's
  public classes are an easy opportunity to get a working at height certifi
 cate in a single day. Our Venue has plenty of safe parking behind a gate a
 nd with a security guard on duty. Lunch is included in the course price. P
 ublic classes are more interactive. You have candidates from various compa
 nies and industries all joining together so the questions are interesting 
 and you get additional insight into the risks in different industries. The
  qualifying learner is capable of:Explaining the use and limitations of a 
 limited range of fall arrest equipment and fall arrest plan.Inspecting\, a
 ssembling and storing fall arrest equipment.Selecting suitable anchor poin
 ts.Using fall arrest systems with a double lanyard.Using pre-installed ver
 tical and horizontal life-lines. As working at height is a high risk exerc
 ise you should also be medically fit and in possession of a medical certif
 icate\, declaring you free from a condition that may prevent you from work
 ing safely at height What should you bring?A copy of your ID documentSafet
 y shoes or bootsA harnessAppropriate clothing for climbing on ladders or s
 caffolding on a worksite Your certificate will be emailed within 7 days. I
