 staff to be compliant. In many cases private learners what to become quali
 fied in working at heights with a certificate to enhance their CV. Often t
 imes contractors need the certification for themselves. FTS Safety's publi
 c classes are an easy opportunity to get a working at height certificate i
 n a single day. Our Venue has plenty of safe parking behind a gate and wit
 h a security guard on duty. Lunch is included in the course price. Public 
 classes are more interactive. You have candidates from various companies a
 nd industries all joining together so the questions are interesting and yo
 u get additional insight into the risks in different industries. The quali
 fying learner is capable of:Explaining the use and limitations of a limite
 d range of fall arrest equipment and fall arrest plan.Inspecting\, assembl
 ing and storing fall arrest equipment.Selecting suitable anchor points.Usi
 ng fall arrest systems with a double lanyard.Using pre-installed vertical 
 and horizontal life-lines. As working at height is a high risk exercise yo
 u should also be medically fit and in possession of a medical certificate\
 , declaring you free from a condition that may prevent you from working sa
 fely at height What should you bring?A copy of your ID documentSafety shoe
 s or bootsA harnessAppropriate clothing for climbing on ladders or scaffol
 ding on a worksite Your certificate will be emailed within 7 days. If you 
 require proof that you have attended immediately please let the course fac
 ilitator know on the morning of training.
