  in Durban and Johannesburg for unit standard 119567. This is the correct 
 course for company compliance with the Department of Labour The basic firs
 t aid & CPR training course is aimed at teaching students how to perform b
 asic life support and first aid procedures. FTS Safety uses the new syllab
 us for First Aid The old syllabus is no longer recognised by the Departmen
 t of Labour Our Germiston Venue has plenty of safe parking behind a gate a
 nd with a security guard on duty. Lunch is included in the course price. P
 ublic classes are more interactive. You have candidates from various compa
 nies and industries all joining together so the questions are interesting 
 and you get additional insight into the risks in different industries. Wha
 t should you bring?A copy of your ID documentAppropriate clothing doing th
 e first aid practical on the second day The first aid course requires you 
 to complete an assignment in the week that follows and return it to us to 
 be marked. Your certificate will be emailed within 7 days. If you require 
 proof that you have attended immediately please let the course facilitator
  know on the morning of training.
